Abbye learned to speak Croatian at a young age with her step-grandfather who took a boat across the sea to come to the United States when he was fourteen years old. Her sense of family and missing the old times with her grandfather prompted her to write her first book about a Croatian motorcycle club in the US.

#AtoZChallenge #Theme #SerialKIllers C

This one we're going by last name for ;)

Andrew Cunanan
Born on August 31, 1969 in San Diego, California. He settled in San Francisco’s Castro district and socialized with older, wealthy gay men while indulging heavily in drugs. It's unclear what set him off but he began a cross-country killing spree of five known murders - the last of which was fashion designer Gianni Versace. Cunanan killed himself on a Miami houseboat in 1997.

  1. I have to say, this theme is fascinating. We generally only think of the famous cases here in the states, but I guess psychopaths live everywhere.

    1. They are everywhere. And sometimes the most normal neighbor you could ever imagine. Just makes it all the more creepy to me.

  2. The very weirdest thing is that he killed someone famous. Most serial killers try to operate under the radar - but not this guy. I think he knew the police were getting close and wanted to make a big mark before he killed himself.
